In these times when video is king and brevity the norm (hi TikTok), I'm opening this blog against the tide. I believe that for complex topics such as project/change/production/people management, the notion of time is totally different. You need to take the time to read and understand topics in their full complexity; for that, a written medium is best suited: we have time to reflect on what we have just read, to check out the references inserted by the author, and to build our (positive) criticism by going back over specific passages of what we have just read.
But why a blog? Aren't Facebook/LinkedIn/Medium enough? You'll have a hard time attracting people! Nobody will read you!
Well, no! I don't find these platforms adequate. You drown in an ocean of all kinds of articles of varying quality, and finding a specific one is an arduous task. Whereas if everything is gathered in one specific site, you have a good idea of what you'll find there, and searching it is much easier (setting up a search engine is on my improvement list). What's more, you can ignore this platform or not, instead of having it imposed on you by the whims of an obscure algorithm. As for site traffic, that's not what motivates me: I'd rather have a small audience of quality readers than spend hours sorting relevant comments from the rest.
For those wondering where this blog's title «Anargile & Leanbertaire» comes from, it's a cross between "anarchism + agile" and "lean + libertarian". There are some pretty strong similarities in the type of organization advocated. If you dig around the web, you'll find a number of articles on the subject.
So, welcome to this site, whose only ambition is to satisfy its initiator's (and other willing authors') need to write and publish. The topics covered will revolve around "Agility" and "Lean" in the broadest sense, while allowing ourselves to venture into related topics that make sense.
